Global Economic Monitor

Providing daily updates of global economic developments, with coverage of high income- as well as developing countries. Daily data updates are provided for exchange rates, equity markets, interest rates, stripped bond spreads, and emerging market bond indices. Monthly data coverage (updated daily and populated upon availability) is provided for consumer prices, high-tech market indicators, industrial production and merchandise trade.

IMF Data Mapper

International Monetary Fund (IMF)

The IMF Data Mapper, a new interactive data visualization tool on the IMF's website, allows web users to select data across countries, regions, and group The Data Mapper displays the selected data in chart form, and the map and charts are interactive. For example, changing the time period by sliding along the time axis on a line chart causes the annual data displayed on the map and the map colors to change. The data can also be printed or exported to other applications in the form of chart or map images.

Human Development Indicators

United Nations Development Programme's Human Development Report Office (HDRO)

The human development data utilized in the preparation of the Human Development Index (HDI) and other composite indices featured in the Human Development Report are provided by a variety of public international sources and represent the best and most current statistics available for those indicators at the time of the preparation of this annual report. Calculations of HDI values and country rankings are the sole responsibility of the Human Development Report Office. The aim of the Human Development Report is to stimulate global, regional and national policy discussions on issues that are relevant to human development.

Regional Innovation Monitor (RIM)

Europe 2020 indicators


In its role of a leading provider of official statistics on the European Union (EU) and in response to the growing interest in data on the Europe 2020 strategy, Eurostat produces and disseminates statistical data to support the strategy. Progress towards the strategy targets is monitored by means of eight headline indicators and three sub-indicators.

Sustainable Development Indicators (SDIs)


The Sustainable Development Indicators (SDIs) are used to monitor the EU Sustainable Development Strategy (EU SDS) in a report published by Eurostat every two years. They are presented in ten themes. Of more than 100 indicators, eleven have been identified as headline indicators. They are intended to give an overall picture of whether the European Union has achieved progress towards sustainable development in terms of the objectives and targets defined in the strategy. For a more complete picture it is necessary to look at the progress of all indicators within a theme.

UNWTO World Tourism Barometer

World Tourism Organization (UNWTO)

The UNWTO World Tourism Barometer is a regular publication of the Tourism Trends and Marketing Strategies Programme of UNWTO aimed at monitoring the short-term evolution of tourism and providing the sector with relevant and timely information. It contains three permanent elements: an overview of short-term tourism data from destination countries and air transport, a retrospective and prospective evaluation of tourism performance by the UNWTO Panel of Tourism Experts and selected economic data relevant for tourism.
